Written in prose, inspired by Basho's minimalist (Zen) style and T.S. Eliot's freedom of poetic expression, the author has covered such topics as "Celebrating Nature", covering mainly Australian aspects thereof, (Part 1); «The Challenge of Relationships» (Part 2); and "The Pathos of the Heart and the Triumph of the Spirit" (Part 3). These poems have been written over a lifetime and re-written for publication. The author describes the pain of an abusive childhood and its effects on her life journey, eventually leading towards healing and wholeness. It describes despair, bitterness, numbness and joy. Her search for a spirituality that rang true to her features prominently in Part 3. She explored Catholicism, Atheism, the Occult, Buddhism, the teachings of Krishnamurti in this quest - only to stumble into born-again Christianity, to her own great surprise! The book comes with paintings by Koraljka, an accomplished artist. Most are in colour, some in black and white.
