One definition of justice is “the quality of being just, impartial, or fair.” The Summer quarter focuses on justice as presented in the New Testament: a primary characteristic of God’s nature. As followers of Jesus we are called to imitate God’s just and merciful nature through our actions toward others, including our enemies. The Summer quarter of study seeks to answer the following questions: How can we avoid being judgmental? What motivates true and just generosity? And, what makes for living justly in the world?
Summer Theme: Justice (Matthew, Luke, Romans, 2 Corinthians, and Colossians)
