“Pottery evolved from an idea that began to hold more water the better is passed the test of fire”
Walden Aubrey
This first volume is not about how to make pottery, rather its a symbolisation for the conditioning of our consciousness by the factors that make us who we are in a social context and what we are and have become in the present day. I call it my own social theory of practical consciousness. A book of ideas on this shared destiny that we, without a shred of doubt, all find ourselves in. Unlike conventional books this work can be read from back to front, from the beginning or anywhere in the middle.
This book has been written in the format of an aphoristic or axiomatic style, a mere prosaic, although complex distillation of many ideas and subjects as can be covered in the space of a few gnomic sentences or verse. Its philosophical and literary conventions maintain a modicum of modern day truths and social relevance to a life lived in the ‘here and now’ and of its experiences expressed as a set of maxims and quotes of a discursive mindfulness.
