Coeur de Foudre, French for “lightning bolt to the heart,” happened when John Kendle met Carly Greggson for the first time at his friends' home in London. The tall, dark and handsome British businessman and commercial pilot falls in love with the bouncy, blue-eyed, blonde American interior designer, who comes to London to visit his friends, Will and Jenny Boulton. The couple, both previously married and experienced in rejection and sadness, try to overcome mistrust and allow themselves the chance to enjoy the future together. John's ex-wife, Sheila, took his airplane manufacturing company in a hostile takeover. She not only does not want to give up the company, but she has a hard time completely giving up John as well.
