The title When the Stones Cry Out came to Ellen when she was sad that so many people at her workplace made fun of our Lord Jesus Christ. She could not believe why some scoffers and mockers' eyes are blind when it comes to the Bible and the truths about Christ. She asked God why are there so few people who want to know and serve Him. Then God opened the Scripture of Luke 19:37–40 to her about Jesus' last ride into Jerusalem before His crucifixion. A multitude of disciples was rejoicing and praising God for all the mighty works that they had seen. The Pharisees (who were the religious authorities of the Jews) said to Jesus: “Master, rebuke thy disciples”. He said unto them: “I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.”


She realised that people who never heard the true Gospel of Jesus could not make an informed decision about their eternal future. In Hosea 4:6, God says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge”. This book will help the reader to grow in understanding of the Bible and its message.
