Winners Give Up! was born out of a period of great challenges in my life. I had become unemployed and my eldest daughter and I were put out in the cold by a former spouse. We crawled back from Kansas City to our family farm in rural Michigan, with no income, no car, no prospects.This book was a labor of hope and commitment to doing the things necessary to climb back from the abyss. It is the fulfillment of an inner need to inspire others who also want to be “the best possible version of themselves.”Writing Winners Give Up! was a cathartic and healing process that turned around my life and my life experience. My children and I are now in a profoundly gratifying situation. I would like everyone to be able to accomplish such a turnaround.
