Paul Davis was a young & dynamic banker who living a gifted chance life he had received after several failed attempts towards making a successful career at an engineering college. He dropped out of his college and followed his dream, searching for the purpose and true meaning of life. He spent most of his time understanding his inner self and inner values after graduating as he graduated in arts and later chose a career in banking. However, in a world where millions of youngsters aspired to do what he was doing, he typed his resignation abruptly one fine day and tapped the send button without thinking twice. He then gulped down a bunch of sleeping pills, which slowed down his mind and soon made him unconscious. His last thought, with a smile, was that maybe he would never wake up. He finally had found what he had been looking for, an escape and peace. He thought he was dead. He must have been. However, he woke up just hours later at an unknown location, struggling to find out what was real and what wasn't. His head was fuzzy. He sighed and tried to follow his routine, thinking it was just his mind playing with him. He ignored his surroundings and checked for his phone. He realized he needed to settle the whole resignation drama he had done the night before and just show up at the damn office on time. But as soon as he realized that his phone was missing, he panicked. He paced around the room anxiously for a while until his heart skipped a beat with a knock on his door.
“Hi,” said the unexpected visitor as Paul opened the door slowly and cautiously, “My name is Alex and I will be your guide through your journey.”
“Wait,” frowned Paul. “What journey? What are you talking about? Where am I?” Questioned Paul and Alex smiled.
