#worldsworstmum — you know you are doing it all wrong, but you do it anyway!
I wrote this series of stories to highlight something we women do too often. We judge, convict and have thrown the key away on ourselves daily!  In the age of Social Media, we are expected to be either perfect or complete trash!  Personally I’m neither, although killing my children (or thoughts of) occur daily!
I’m boring hence I attracted the name ‘Nanna’. I don’t drink excessively, gave up smoking many moons ago and I’m on my 2nd marriage — the first one I consider to be my marriage-learning study group, — now I’m onto the real thing — I hope to pass — but that’s another book!
I’m a workaholic, in that I don’t actually do ‘nothing’.  That Zen state isn’t for me — meditation is beyond my brains capability and well, I enjoy doing things — irrespective of how mind numbingly boring some might see them.  Drinking with the girls until I’m Pie-Faced is for others and as far as being the modern cupcake maker extraordinaire — let’s just say when your kids ask you not to bake their birthday cakes — you know you pretty much suck in that department.
Really, I am an average mum learning the ropes as I go, who happens to want to kill her offspring more than occasionally!  All I can throw on the table in my defence, is that raising my boys has been very much a solitary experience and that thankfully my Nanna has passed on and won’t be feeling mortified at these stories!
Where to start? Here are just a few moments in my own parenting life that give rise to these thoughts… Enjoy a giggle or two.  Grab a coffee and share this with friends — you might not feel so bad after a few chapters as a mum!
