Brooklyn Kemp is your typical tomboy. Definition: A girl who enjoys rough, noisy activities traditionally associated with boys. The boys she associates with are, you guessed it: the football players. The quarter back, Ty, has been her best friend since the 6th grade and he's been the one she can always lean on. Of course he wasn't aware of the bullying she was forced to put up with for dressing like, and loitering with the boys. Their senior year is about to start so she decides to spice things up a bit and change her looks. She loses the big clothes, dyes her hair, and throws away the geeky glasses. The only difference to this story is that when she goes back, she catches the attention of not only the male population but a new kind of attention too. There is a new teacher that is causing quite a distraction for all the girls in school. When he runs into Brooklyn, literally, his eyes captivate her instantly and she's feels seemingly lost with all her new found feelings.
