Life outside prison isn't as easy as Neil Gatlin hoped. With no money, job, or anywhre else to go, Neil finds himself back in Cleavemont, Illinoise where most residents still think he's a killer.
As someone makes anonymous threats, Neil must make tough decisions, risking everything, including his relationship with the beautiful Sunshine. Neil's problems mount and enemies increase, as he tries to determine who is after him and scramble with each increasing threat.
Soon, Neil wonders if Cleavemont is far enough away from prison to keep J.R.'s gang away. Will Neil end up back in prison or die first? And what will happen to Sunshine? If only he was invisible.
