Bleeding Heart (NHB Modern Plays)

A short dark comedy from Spain, set during the Holy Week Festival in present-day Seville where Winston, a naive middle-aged transvestite, encounters a petty thief nicknamed 'sour face'.
Antonio Onetti's play Bleeding Heart was first performed in this English translation by Oscar Ceballos and Mary Peate at the Royal Court Theatre, London, in 1997.
