It’s a blessing that Gerd is part of the world of sports. This smart, hardworking young man has already won many medals, but more importantly, he is a role-model for other young athletes. This books shows how following simple rules can help make even the wildest dreams come true. I actively follow his attempts to break my world record and truly hope he succeeds one day.
Jürgen Schult – World record holder in discus throwing, Olympic Champion Seoul 1988
This honestly written book, full of useful wisdom and life lessons, is proof of Olympic gold medalist Gerd Kanter's extraordinary ability to self-analyse, generalise and express himself.
Mart Siimann, President of the Estonian Olympic Committee, former Prime Minister of Estonia
If it were up to me, I would make this book required reading in schools. I know what I'm talking about, since it has been a great help in educating my children and students. Gerd is a great man in every sense of the word.
Aivar Räni – parent and coach
