Liam wants to learn magic. However, children must pass a Trial to begin their training, and Liam has never gotten the chance. Then, his friend Gale, a knight-to-be, is assigned his Trial: to follow a path until it ends-and Liam has to go with him! Will jealousy tear these friends apart, or will they overcome the difficult journey ahead of them and reach the end of the path together?
