When a new insecticide product called Sasso hit the Ghanaian market back in 2007, all hell broke loose in the insect kingdom; more so, among mosquitoes, cockroaches and flies, when news spread that the new pesticide was deadly potent against their species. On this revelation, Mr. Mosquito, the brain behind the swarm of mosquitoes residing in the Kwame Nkrumah Circle Drain panicked that his recently hatched generation may not survive their two-week circle lifespan to ensure their continuous existence.
And, with each Ghanaian family’s personal experiences with Sasso Spray and coils, any number of insects hidden within the crevices of the walls, ceilings and floors panicked into tense arguments about who to blame for the human beings’ constant tragedies as a result of their carelessness.
