Peter Sokolov was born in the metropolitan area of New York and studied the game of golf ever since playing his first tournament at the age of 12. Since then he has played college golf on a national championship winning team and has become an authority in the research of putting and the short game. Peter was the youngest and earliest to achieve senior instructor status for Dave Pelz Golf Schools. Peter has discovered new modern research to add to the wealth of knowledge that he had learned as one of the top short game instructors in the game. He has experience teaching tour players from every single major tour, many that have had multiple wins. He has taught in almost every major city in the US and has brought his instruction to Europe as well. Today the bulk of his time is spent in South Florida in the winters and New York in the summers teaching and researching all facets of the game to help golfers improve and enjoy it more.
