April Jones is a mother, author, humanitarian, philanthropist, entrepreneur, educator, founder and an executive director extraordinaire. April, has appeared on the History Channel in Chris Bagnalls' debut documentary, Vets Forward. Vets Forward, sheds light on the positive contribution veterans are making and highlights the ways former service men and women bring their expertise with them to their communities once they have left the service.
She has been featured on Nashville Public Television network in a feature titled, Veterans Coming Home. Her favorite moment of all time is when she was invited to share food and cocktails at The White House in Washington D.C. Here she met Former President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle Obama. Surprised the Secret Service didn't escort her from the premises, she was a little tipsy upon leaving the Obama's home. It was a magical experience to say the least. Now she brings us “Soldier From Birth,” an interpretation of where she has come from and how far she has came.
