While biographical, this book is somehow travel pages and reads as a workof fiction, a novel. It begins with the author leaving his hometown in Italyfor a first adventure in Rome, then from Rome to Montreal, Canada, hence fromthere onboard the first cruiseship to begin cruises from Los Angeles toAcapulco, Mexico. Back to Italy, then again back to North America, the authoris hired at the very beginning of Princess Cruises, and takes this company toits first big expansion and up to retirement in 1992.
