Lucia Librovich is waking up at an operating table. She doesn’t know why she is back to life; she can’t remember her past, most definitely has no future and is now almost a zombie. That’s not really the worst to happen in the post-apocalyptic world saturated with old and new horrors, where everything has become a commodity even the soul. But her blissful state won’t last long, because the spirit of her grandmother, Lucia Senior, will pave the way to the important task of discovery as to who is behind the trade of souls.
Alternately, on the road between the living and the dead, of help and hindrance will be the spirit of a young girl, a smug vampire, a ghost of a fallen spirit deacon and a spirit of a dog trapped in a cat’s body. She will be receiving insider information from Inspector, an almost enlightened government official, but these won’t help her fight the powers and interests on “this” or “that” side. As always, the epilogue will be the result of coincidence, if coincidence even exists regardless of what dimension.
