When I receive a phone call from my daughter’s school, I’m shocked to find my sweet little girl has been in a fight. Hauled to the principal’s office to straighten things out, I find myself sitting next none other than my first kiss—Tyler Daniels—the man who'd taught me the meaning of trouble twenty years ago.
After living the high life in NYC for the last decade, Tyler’s back in town to ruin me all over again. This time—the joke’s on him. I’m older and (sometimes) wiser, and after my last failed relationship, I’m in no mood to have my pigtails pulled. Not even when Tyler decides to try that kissing thing all over again.
However, Tyler’s gotten a lot better at that kissing thing, and when one steamy kiss leads to the next, I suddenly find myself thinking about Tyler Daniels and his smoking hot dad bod at the worst of times. Even if his presence in my home town will run my beautiful little inn right out of business.
When push comes to shove, however, Tyler Daniels and I are not cut out to be friends—and I’m not sure we’re ready for more.
