None of them needed a man for anything but most of the niggas they fucked wit' were tricks. It was nothing for a man to pay all of their bills. The girls always stayed fly. They all lived life by their own rules. Falling in love was a no-no. To them, men were looked upon as pawns; mere playthings.

First and foremost I have to thank God for blessing me with creative ideas and words for a fourth book. Lord, you have blessed me with so much that sometimes I get overwhelmed but I thank you for it all. I can't wait to see where this journey takes me. I'm a little nervous but trust and believe that I'm gonna buckle my seat belt and hold on for the ride.
Vickie, we're on our fourth book together. Who would have thought? I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you've done for me. Without you acknowledging my work, I wouldn't be in the position I'm in now so thank you.
To the entire TCP staff, thank you for working so hard and diligently on my projects. Without your hard work, my novels wouldn't be what they are.
To my momma Patricia and father Carl, thank you for raising such a smart, classy, determined, fly chick like myself.
Nah, for real I love you both and thank you both for being the best parents a girl could ask for.
To my brother Keon, I love you more than words can say.
To the entire Poe, Ervin, Blackshear and my Aunt Hattie's family, thank you all for your continued support and love.
To the five chicks who hold me down on a regular basis, Locia, Tu-Shonda, Monique, Miesha and Janea, ya'll are my dearest and truest friends. Thank you for putting up with my goofy and conceited ways. Thank you for listening to me read my manuscripts over and over again until I get it right. And thank you for being the fly, stand up chicks you are.
To Mrs. Robertson, Mrs. Whitaker, Miss Pascal and Mrs. Snipes, thank you for raising such beautiful, intelligent, caring and giving daughters.
Thank you Danielle Santiago, Caroline McGill, Ashley Jaquavis, Tracy Brown, Deja King, Mary Wilson, Brenda Hampton and Cynthia Parker, for acknowledging and supporting my work.
Wahida Clark, I just wanna say that the day I opened your book and saw my name in it was like one of the best days of my life. You are one of my favorite authors and I wish you continued success.
To all the people on the message boards who love and support my work, thank you!! Ms. Monalisa, Sunshine716, Miss Millie, Mskiki425, Reydee, Chocolate Girl, Andrea Denise, Rosepetals, Virgo, Xtina316, Lady Scorpio, Shalonda 5050, Day Dee 2005, Simply Stephanie, and Lovely E4U, thank you all!!

    Dedication
I dedicate this book to two people - my son Kyrese Ervin and one of my closest friends, Monsieur Pascal. Kyrese, you are my shining light when things get dark in my life. You inspire me to do better for the both of us. You are growing up to be a handsome, funny and smart young man. Know that all of this was done for you and that I love you with all of my heart.
Monique, your strength and courage after all you've been through in the past couple of years shows that no matter what, you can come through and still be a God fearing, giving person. I don't know how you do it, but continue to be everything that you are.

    Simply Unique
"I got, no time for fake niggas ... Just sip some Cristal with these real niggas... From East to West Coast we spread love niggas ... And while you niggas talk shit we count bank figures," Unique sang with her eyes behind shades, strolling down the streets of LA. Fresh to death with Moschino bags, Unique and Tha Get Money Crew strutted down Robertson Boulevard, looking as if they could have been young socialites or "Sex and the City" knockoffs. Unique a.k.a. Nique, Kiara, Kay Kay and Zoe had the best of everything -- great looks, cars with chrome spinners, designer outfits and money.
