For many years, I believed that stepping out to start a God given instruction was the hardest part of obedience. I found out quickly after seeing visions and prophecies lay dormant, due to inconsistency on my part that starting was only the beginning. The truth that I have found as a result of evaluating my own life and the lives of countless others is that, many people start but very few REMAIN! The Lord commands us in John 15:9–10 NLT 9 «I have loved you even as the Father has loved me. Remain in my love. When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father's commandments and remain in his love.
Out of this passage in John 15, the Lord gave me the instruction to REMAIN! He said don't just pray for the grace to start, He said my children need the strength to REMAIN! Therefore this year has been a journey of REMAINING! The Lord desires that we not only step out but that we stay, that we continue, and that we last in the things He has called us to do. The first call is that we remain in continually intimacy and connection with Him!
