Rebecca Meredith just bought her first home. Unfortunately, her perfect house came with a stalker who watches her house at night and with Ben Tanner for a neighbor. Worse, she has reason to suspect that Ben is the stalker. Becca’s life has been spinning out of control ever since he showed up at her door with an orphaned kitten. He’s abrasive and infuriatingly domineering, but his mere presence is enough to fuel a series of increasingly erotic dreams that keep her off balance around him. Becca tries to keep her distance, but Ben has no intention of allowing her to deny the attraction between them. His pursuit grows more aggressive as Becca tries to find out what’s really going on. She’ll learn the truth when she confronts her stalker, out in the night.

~~~~~ PG Excerpt ~~~~~
That night, Becca dreamed of a shadowy man prowling the dark in an unfamiliar wooded landscape. She ran through woods, sometimes catching glimpses of him up ahead through the trees, other times hearing him running behind her. No matter how fast she ran, she could neither catch up with him nor escape him. Finally, with her heart pounding and lungs burning, she ran into a clearing. She looked back over her shoulder to see if she was being pursued and ran straight into the man. He was standing in the middle of the clearing, which had been empty a split second before. The shadows clung to him despite the pale wash of moonlight where he stood.
She had run right up against his chest, and now she was trapped there with her wrists encircled in his vicelike grip. His face was hidden in the shadows, even though her skin, only inches away, glowed in the moonlight. She tried to push herself away, but he didn’t budge. He stood silent and unmoving as she tried to escape his grip.
She started to scream, but his mouth was suddenly covering hers, swallowing her cry. The man pressed his advantage, pulling her arms behind her and trapping both wrists in one hand. Before she could react, his other hand was on the back of her neck, preventing her from pulling away. The pressure of his mouth slanted over hers kept her from closing her mouth after her muffled scream died away. She tried to draw back when his tongue intruded to slide against hers, but he held her firmly in place.
Time flowed and skipped inconsistently in the dream. Suddenly, she was succumbing to his kiss, without knowing how it happened. One moment she was fighting him and the next, she was moaning as his tongue plunged deeper into her mouth. He had released her wrists, evidently satisfied that she was now captive to her desire, but he didn’t relax the grasp he was using to control the kiss.
