In book one, Vic learns the truth of the strange dreams she has had for years and begins a quest that may last a lifetime — or quickly end her life! In book two, Vic's friend from high school, Lin Li, travels with her to Outer Mongolia. Among their many deadly encounters, they run into a "myth" with a thousand-year history and battle an underling war-lord of the infamous Mad Baron.
