Based on fact, this is the story of the main character Jeff Baker, who tells of what it was like to live and grow up through the hell of the London blitz of World War two, then with the bombsites as his playground and the trials of growing up in the aftermath of post war Britain
Later in life he moved to the Estuary where he leads a “David and Goliath” fight against the impossible odds of taking on the most powerful international conglomerates of the Oil Industry
In this part of the story it tells of a battle against impossible odds that took place in the suburbs of the Estuary, of what it was like for the little man taking on the most powerful people in the world and the establishment that supported them, He led an ordinary small community of people in an epic struggle, when they took on the might of two powerful international oil refinery companies and the establishment and the Authority that supported them, proving one twig you can break very easily, bind those twigs into a bundle of twigs no matter how powerful you are, you will never break them therefore “The Big Boys Don’t Win all the Time”.
