The Captain Kayak stories are the adventures of a young boy who travels the world in Flame, his kayak. They follow the adventures he has, the things he sees and does, and the scrapes he gets into.
This adventure sees Captain Kayak go to Scotland to search for Nessie, The Loch Ness Monster. The story tells of his journey until he finally meets Nessie. At that point he discovers she is a strong and special character. They plan something together which doesn’t quite work out the way they had hoped. Nevertheless they have a lot of fun and what happens next makes the ‘slightly famous’ Captain Kayak even more famous.
This is the second book in the series ‘Captain Kayak's Adventures’. Each book stands alone, so you can enjoy this even if you haven’t read the first one.
