Inspector Dan Fletcher is working undercover as an insurance investigator to find a previous investigator who disappeared. He encounters intrigue, murder, and mayhem in his race to identify the members of a criminal organization known as Bluestone, and their informants in the police force and the government. He must close down Bluestone’s illegal activities before the tabloids expose a scandal that will rock the foundations of the British social order.
