The Lockdown is the Magical blanket hampering all use of Magic in the D/FW area — Except for Seth Connors. It's really no wonder that Seth is still accused of being the caster of the Lockdown.
Sheriff Dalton and Deputy Lawson simply followed the most logical course of action. Yet when they learn that Seth wasn't even in the state when the spell was cast, the Sheriff asks Seth to help her figure it out and end the spell. After all, once the spell is down, she can use her own Magic to find the real caster and bring him or her to justice.
Seth agrees, reluctantly, and begins a more in-depth training program with a friend of the Sheriff’s.
Other complications arrise as well. The Syndicate hit the area, seemingly taking advantage of the Lockdown. Neil returns, only he isn't going to allow Seth or the Police to stand between him and what he wants. And to add misery to the mix, Seth's sister, Faith, shows up. It's a mad mix of mayhem as Seth tries to find his Sibling Magus.
