Riley James should be celebrating the start of his dream job. Fresh out of college, he’s landed a coveted role in the press office of the Orlando Magic. On paper, everything looks perfect. Behind closed doors, though, he’s still reeling from his boyfriend’s betrayal and the quiet wreckage it left behind.
Then he meets Mike Carter, the team’s newest star. Mike is confident on the court, careful off it, and sends signals Riley can’t quite dismiss. The pull between them is sharp, undeniable and risky. Getting involved with a closeted athlete could jeopardize Riley’s career before it ever takes off.
