Zoltan Kiss, Ph.D., a biochemist and cell biologist, firmly believes in the theory of evolution. But as during his work he faced the immense complexity of the human body every day, he became convinced that a strong organizing principle must exist, provided by a higher Authority, which works hand in hand with evolution and natural selection. This led him to another recognition expressed in this book; religion and science should not be adversaries.
On the first and most important level, the main characters discuss new ideas about Creation and the dual nature of God, as well as a reconciliation between faith and science.
On a second level, the book shows how lives can be devastated, or redeemed, when the unknown and unknowable emotions residing in all of us come to the surface.
On a third level, it illuminates the thought process of scientists working to solve the mystery surrounding the death of a young man.
