From the award-winning author of Hold Still comes an achingly beautiful novel about grief and the enduring power of friendship
«So lonely and beautiful that I could hardly breathe. This is a perfect book.» — Stephanie Perkins, bestselling author of Anna and the French Kiss
«As beautiful as the best memories, as sad as the best songs, as hopeful as your best dreams.»
— Siobhan Vivian, bestselling author of The Last Boy and Girl in the World
You go through life thinking there's so much you need. … Until you leave with only your phone, your wallet, and a picture of your mother.

Honestly I hadn't thought this book would be so sad. I cried a lot and had to pause a few times because it was too much and I couldn't let myself cry at the moment. But I still think it's a great book for 'exploring of your sexual orientation' and I enjoyed a romantic line. Would like to read a sequel with this girl😍

El amor tiene muchos matices y este libro los describe muy bien.

Hay frases que entristecen, pero no acaba de acomodarse la historia dentro del cora.

Sometimes I think I can remember a warmth. A closeness. A feeling of being in arms, maybe. Soft hair against my cheek

If only I had something to take the edge off the loneliness. If only lonely were a more accurate word. It should sound much less pretty.

It takes me a while, usually, to be able to listen. But when I do, I discover the secrets of pollination, that honeybees’ wings beat two hundred times per second. That trees shed their leaves not according to season, but according to rainfall. That before all of us there was something else. Eventually, something will take our place.
