In the year 2010, Science has advanced to the point where Mankind has succeeded in creating the Super Heroes that they would need in dire times. Artificial Humans, known as a Homunculus. But this first attempt, caused New York City's destruction, simply known by all as “The Darkest Hour.” Twenty Years later, The need for Heroes was still there, and as such Thirteen of them were created to be just that. But the 13th, Adam is treated as an outcast. But all of that changes, when a trio suddenly appear, having relations to Adam.
