The Burial Customs of the Ancient Greeks (1891) is a dissertation explaining the burial customs of the ancient Greek by Frank Pierrepont Graves at Columbia College. Graves was a noted historian of education, college administrator, and author. He later became Commissioner of the New York State Education Department from 1921 to 1940. The material presently compiled in this work was found dispersed through the writings of ancient as well as modern authors.
