The chronicles of Sinka exposes the reader to the realities that an African female child is exposed to. Especially in the not so modernized regions of the continent, ranging from female genital mutilation, sexual abuse, lack of education and martial law. The chronicles achieve by taking the reader on a journey through life from the view of Sinka Kanu.
It takes the reader on an adventurous tale with many twists of fate. And the often unfortunate luck of the protagonist. It also shows a strong resolve that was able to surpass and survive all that life threw at it and shows what true love looks like.
The chronicle ends with a transformation in Sinka that makes her a solution to the problems of many concerning sexual abuse and a source of hope to many.


Francess Kay was born in Sierra Leone, now in her 30's, She's a mother of two and a British citizen. She is an outstanding poet, memoirist, writer, and civil right activists — feminist. She is an entrepreneur, the founder of Wan Pot Magazine which soul interest is to inspire, promote peace, and showcase inspiring individuals within the society, and also a co-founder of African-calabash talk show and the founder of Africa Enttreprenur Awards UK. where she earned public figure and respect as an influential speaker.
