    Most OCD sufferers usually have a merit trait, being : diligence and hard work, diligence and hard work, diligence and hard work. I said it three times to emphasize that it really is true. Dogged perseverance and a will to fight for oneself and the ones you love. It’s a warrior thing with OCD sufferers, really.

    Try not to go to the extremes in anything because OCD very much tends to be a black and white illness.

    we shouldn’t focus too much on breaking habits, but rather forming habits. And the best habits to form are repeated simple acts of happiness which slowly lift you out of the black hole which is OCD.

    Life is a wonderful thing full of wonder, yet OCD sufferers can’t see too much of it because of the chained aspect to it. This isn’t even a philosophical notion where I’d say “just be happy and it’ll all go away.” It takes simple acts of happiness to be in that state.

    Anything which ties you to the moment and keeps your mind in a dance, except, of course, for the use of illicit drugs, would do wonders for your OCD.
