«An utterly charming and deeply moving portrait of the joys––and the guilt––of trying to find your own way in life.» ––Celeste Ng, #1 New York Times bestselling author
«Meeting Maame feels like falling in love for the first time: warm, awkward, joyous, a little bit heartbreaking and, most of all, unforgettable.» ––Xochitl Gonzalez, New York Times bestselling author of Olga Dies Dreaming

Such a heart warming story tbh, i really resonate with how the story progresses. Macam aku rasa ini kisah hidup aku, kind off. As someone yg having difficulties in love, in relationships with parents, wanting to move out, wanting to be a new me perhaps. Im not necessarily sad or just having depression etc, cuma rasa yeah this world is fucked up in a way. Like how i am supposed to react or feel with people around. I think im also a people pleaser a little bit but i kept myself alone as well. And the parents huhu, i hope i dont have to struggle as much as maddie tho. But in a way, i did felt the same as she is with her parents.
