Kami didn’t know what to do. She knew that she had nothing but love and infatuation for her mother’s best friend. And also, Samantha was her mother’s best friend who was starting to give her the creeps that she was very much afraid of. Samantha, her mother’s best friend on the other hand was showing all sorts of interest in Kami, which also made a huge contribution as far as her confusion was concerned.
“Hey Kami, I’ll get straight to the point. I like you and I know that you like me too. I am at the Western Hotel which is just a couple of minutes
from your house. I have a surprise for you. It won’t take long, Samantha.”
She had read that message for the umpteenth time and for a moment, she thought that it was going to be her only chance to get to be herself. Kami took a deep breath and thought about how life was going to turn out at the end of it all, but that said, she decided that it was about time for her to have fun, too.
