Aldous Leonard Huxley is considered as one of the most widely read British novelists. He is best known for his great novel “Brave New World.”

Huxley was also the editor of the magazine Oxford Poetry. He also wrote poems, short stories, travelogues, film stories, and scripts. In the later part of his life he moved to the United States. He spent his last days there.

Being a great humanist, satirist, and pacifist, he used to be deeply concerned about the deteriorating condition of the society. He wrote several essays describing the predicament of the contemporary society.

He was also a good orator and people often listened to him very attentively. Several of his spoken and written lines, statements, remarks, and philosophies have become very popular quotes which have inspired a large number of writers and scholars in the posterity.

The present book included hundreds of his thought provoking remarks and statements which are bound to enlighten and entertain the readers of this book.
