Coming back from treatment for anorexia, Elizabeth Elmers has to readjust to school life. When the varsity quarterback asks her out, though, she lets go of all she held dear to be with him, including her best and arguably only true friend. As the year goes on, she falls back into her old habits of self-destructive behavior, threatening both her relationship and her sense of inner beauty. But will it be too late to save her from herself? Even more, will her best friend still be there if it all falls apart?
