Beside the secret code puzzles there are a few word puzzles in the mix to provide a change.
The secret code puzzles are described as easy because you will either know all the answers beforehand – for example, the 12 months of the year – and will only have to work out the code pattern and/or the code pattern is very easy to decode – for example a = z, b = y, etc – allowing you to work out the required answers. The puzzles start with the easiest code patterns and progress to more complicated patterns but do not stray into 'difficult' territory.
