The Mystery of Edwin Drood

Listen in app
The last—and unfinished—work by Charles Dickens, one of the world's greatest storytellers, The Mystery of Edwin Drood is aptly titled. At the time of his death, Charles Dickens had written only six chapters of the novel he had planned to be twice as long. When young Edwin Drood mysteriously disappears from the quiet cathedral town of Cloisterham, foul play seems certain. The prime suspect is Edwin's uncle John Jasper, who frequents the dark opium underworld and conceals a secret passion beneath his church choir respectability.
