They looked as if they weren't sure what to do with me until they saw their fallen comrade at my feet. Then, it was on. I'd never fought more than one person at a time before, well, at least not outside of black belt training. But, that was just sparring. Still, I prepared myself just as I would in class. They attacked simultaneously from different sides. I side stepped while delivering a strike to one guy's gut. The other did manage to catch me in the chest and, though my momentum didn't allow him to get a good grip, it sent me sprawling. Once again, I was fighting for my life, only I knew I wasn't alone.
