#283: A Week in the Life (7 Days Behind-the-Scenes with Amy)

Listen in app
This year, I promised to let you my listener’s in more. I promised to be more vulnerable.
So today, I’m shaking things up a bit. I'm going to do another “week in the life,” where I'm going to take you on a journey with me throughout my entire next week.
I'm going to share with you what I'm working on, what I'm focused on right now, and a lot of behind the scenes, action items, and thoughts, and anything that happens, basically, I'm going to share with you.
I know it’s fun to see how other entrepreneurs navigate their week. I’m always curious about routines and how other people set up their day. We all want success and to be productive, and it’s fun to see what other people are working on, and how they choose to set up their day.
So I thought you might be curious to know how I set up my day and what I focus on and how I navigate through many, many, many action items. But also, I'm going to share some thoughts and feelings along the way that come up throughout the week. I hope you enjoy this honest behind the scenes look at my week.
[02:07] Sunday evening weekly preview using the Full Focus Planner. This is about what the upcoming week will look like and what did and didn't work from the previous week. Be intentional about how you structure your day.  [06:25] I put down the big three things I want to get done in the upcoming week. Complete the pre launch runway, finish podcast batch 18, and review Digital Course Academy quiz, so it can go live.  [07:32] Monday morning check-in. Morning walk with Scout and fiction audiobook. I also prepared for my FB Live session tomorrow. Phone call with team member. Recorded podcast adds. Hobie's love language is quality time, so I have coffee with him from 8:30 to 9:00. [13:33] Now I'm going to work on the quiz and then a team kick-off call. This is a one hour call with the entire team about what it looks like to launch digital course academy. Theme: We are master troubleshooter.  [17:08] Meeting about my live event Entrepreneur Experience. Lunch and then a leadership level 10 meeting. We follow the EOS or Entrepreneur Operating System. I meet with my directors Chloe, Jen, Sylvia, and Jess, then they have level 10 meetings with their teams. Document review and studio proposal and June financials. [24:20] Monday night check-in. Wins awesome meetings. Quit putting stuff off, because it might take less time than you thought, and it clears your head.  [30:36] Tuesday. Wake up around 5:00 am and working by 6:00. I do video on Tuesdays. Instagram story about launch. Facebook Live as part of DCA prelaunch. I also have a DCA affiliate Facebook Live. I don't workout on video day. I do get a blow out.  [37:53] Tuesday night check-in. Dinner date with Mom. Relationships that matter most need the time, no excuses. [41:38] Wednesday is podcast batching day. I'm doing 3 podcasts today, and some interviews as I grow my team. I also share my hiring process and the book bundle that I send to new hires. [55:07] Wednesday evening. The Peloton Tread came today. There are so many cool workouts. Interesting energy in interviews. We are hiring a dream team.  [01:06:26] Thursday morning. Reviewing the quiz email sequence. Taking Scout for a walk. Workout on Tread. Podcast interview. Momentum meeting. Second batch of three podcasts. I'm going to end the day with acupuncture.  [01:10:41] Thursday evening. I'm back from acupuncture. The Peloton Tread was amazing. When I make mistakes that create stress, I know it's time to fix the system.  [01:15:44] Friday morning. Call at 7:00 am with weight-loss coach. Today, I'm recording the outcome videos for the DCA quiz. Then I fly to Portland, Oregon. [01:20:25] Friday evening. I'm in Portland at The Hoxton. I'm here working on my online event presentations with my friend Mike Pacchione. [01:25:50] Saturday morning. Meet with Mike to work on presentation content. Going shopping for golf clothes for Hobie. [01:30:14] Saturday night, and I'm at the airport. I had a full day, and I'm looking forward to getting home. I hope you enjoyed the week with me.  Subscribe & Review in iTunes
