Reviews for “Gather the Fragments”:
“Stunning.”
“Exquisite and engaging prose.”
“A celebration of the sacredness found in our regular old lives.”
In this uplifting audiobook narrated by the author, internationally published writer Maureen O’Brien creates “intimate portraits of everyday miracles” by encountering people and events in today’s world through the miracle of the loaves and fishes. From the Outer Banks to New England, from New York City to Assisi, Italy, these “timely, funny, sad, beautiful” reflections offer hope with the three words of Jesus: gather the fragments. Listeners reflect on the shards of their own lives, finding healing beyond despair, and mystery in the ordinary. O’Brien shares, “The fragments of love are not lost, scattered things, but are within us as we drive down the S-shaped roads we’ve driven hundreds of times before.” Gather the Fragments turns us together toward grace in a fragmented but still beautiful world.
