Suicide Excepted

Inspector Mallett's stay at the country home stay of Pendlebury Old Hall has been a bummer, and he wants it to end as soon as possible. His final test is to listen when a coarse older man, whose family once owned the house, joins his table. The next day the man is dead, and Mallett decides to investigate the suspicious 'suicide'.
