What are you passionate about? What skills and knowledge do you already have, or what skills would you like to learn? Which passive income channel will allow you to pursue those things?

Analyze your budget and your assets. How much of your resources are you able to put into setting up a passive income stream? How much are you willing to invest at the beginning?

Rent out a room in your house. Do you have a spare room? Are you willing to let someone pay for the privilege of sleeping there? This is a great option, especially in areas with a lot of vacationers, or college towns. You can use sites like Craigslist to list your spare room; just make sure to carefully vet any potential renters beforehand.
