Originally hailing from Suffolk, David Guymer is a freelance author, part-time scientist, and occasional wargamer based in the Yorkshire East Riding. He is the author of the Gotrek & Felix novels Slayer, Kinslayer, and City of the Damned and his 2013 debut novel, Headtaker, was shortlisted for the David Gemmell Morningstar Award
