James Fuller

James Fuller is a Canadian author best known for writing fantasy, horror, and dark fiction. He has received recognition for his contributions to the literary world, including notable acclaim for his recent book Tealock (2024).

James Fuller was born and raised in the heart of the Canadian Rocky Mountains. He spent his childhood in Revelstoke, British Columbia, and moved to Golden, British Columbia, at age ten. At eighteen, he left Golden to reside in Kelowna, British Columbia, where he lives with his wife and son.

James developed a passion for reading at an early age, immersing himself in the works of Tolkien, David Gemmell, R.A. Salvatore and Terry Goodkind. This early love of literature soon developed into a desire to write his own stories. He impressed his high school English teachers with his short story assignments. The transition from writing short stories to creating full-length fantasy novels came naturally.

In his early twenties, James published his first book, The False Prince (2012), as part of his series The Fall of a King. Over the years, James has explored various genres, including dark fiction, horror, dystopian fiction, paranormal erotica, thrillers, and drama.

In addition to his writing, James co-founded The Authors' Table (TAT), a unique group of authors from diverse backgrounds. TAT aims to create a new author-reader experience by engaging with fans through live video Q&A sessions, games, polls, book giveaways, and other interactive events.

James' bibliography includes a variety of works: The Fall of a King: The False Prince (2012) and The Fall of a King: Brothers of Blood (2013) in the fantasy genre; Unforgivable: Part I (2012) and Unforgivable: Part II (2012) in dark fiction/horror; Broken Shards of a Masterpiece (2013), a short story anthology; Luxuria (2013), Erotic Mythology Volume I (2014), Until Death Do Us Part (2013), and After Death Sets Us Free (2015) in erotica; What Remains (2015) in post-apocalyptic fiction; Queen of the Seas in The Pirate Queen series; Precious Amber in The Abducted series; and his latest work, Tealock (2024), in horror.

James Fuller's new work, Tealock (2024), explores humanity's dark side. "As children, we are led to believe there are monsters in the darkness. It has ill-prepared us for the monsters that walk among us in the light," he reflects on the chilling themes of his book. The novel follows Alfred, a seemingly normal man with a hidden, sinister side. The story explores his descent into madness and the horrific acts he commits in his quest for fulfilment.
