Paul Clements is a journalist, broadcaster and writer. He is the author of a trilogy of travel books about Ireland: Burren Country (2011), The Height of Nonsense (2005) and Irish Shores (1993). Romancing Ireland, his acclaimed biography of the Irish travel writer, actor and singer Richard Hayward, was adapted for BBC television in 2014. He has written and edited two books on the travel writer and historian Jan Morris. A former BBC journalist, he also writes for three travel guidebooks to Ireland.
