In this book, the author will equip the individual investor for financial success through dividends. He will separate the topic broadly into three elements: income, information, and independence. Most any investor will be familiar with the income aspect--who can argue with a check in the mail? The elements of information (that dividends convey crucial information, and that a stock can be evaluated entirely from the point of view of the dividend) and independence (our ability to form an entire investment strategy using dividends and dividends alone) will, by contrast, strike many investors as new and unfamiliar. Yet these aspects are both timeless and time-tested, sufficient enough to enable individual investors to succeed.
