    Even by changing the way your body is sitting can help. Stand up, march around the room, do some jumping jacks! All of these things can help to get you up and out of that creativity swamp.

    Listening to music, reading a book, watching a movie, going for a walk, making some toast, can all change the wiring in your brain and give you a fresh angle on a problem. Exercise is particularly good at boosting your brain’s creative thinking and problem-solving skills!

    SET DEADLINES
    ‘Deadlines’ might sound scary, but I promise you that they’re one of the most useful tools in our creativity toolkit.
    Whenever I want to create a new magic show, I always book a theatre, pick a name for the show (that’s always a really fun bit), and begin selling tickets before I have even THE SLIGHTEST IDEA about what’s going to be in it.
    At that moment, there is no show. But I have a deadline and having that looming over me is a brilliant way to FOCUS MY CREATIVITY on that single project. I don’t have a choice, I tell myself, I HAVE to be creative!
    It works every time!
